Getting My Groove Back …

12

September 8, 2015 by Terry

Hello everyone!  I am happy to say that I am on the mend.  Thank you all for your words of encouragement, well wishes and your prayers!

I am not quite ready for painting and sanding yet but hopefully my lungs and energy level will return soon!  One really doesn’t appreciate their health until they’ve been really sick … I have a whole new respect and understanding for those who live with chronic lung conditions!

I have been feeling like since I’ve been ill, I have sort of lost my “groove”.  Almost “lost” … like trying to jump in on a conversation without knowing what the subject is … does that even make sense?

I see all sorts of projects sitting in my garage and around the house and don’t know where to jump in …  I’m sure I’ll find my focus soon :0)

I think that I would be more inspired if I had some visual inspiration so … this week the Broken Made Beautiful Party will return!  Lets make it a good one!

Please link up any or all of your current or favorite past projects this Thursday evening September 10 beginning at 6:00pm (MST).  You have until Saturday September 12 6:00pm to join in!

Please spread the word and help us grow this party into a great get together!

Just because I can’t paint or sand yet doesn’t mean I can’t do a little upholstering …  I have a little parlor chair that has been waiting for a new dress!  I think I will make that post a tutorial, so anyone looking to fix up an old chair help is here!

Thank you again to my faithful followers who patiently wait on me :0)

I appreciate you all!

Smiles!

Terry

    Hi Terry!
I am so glad to read that you are feeling better! I am sure you will get groove back on very soon:)
It is a strange feeling when you sort of loose track on all things that you love to do! Its like they dont matter anymore, because your body is so tiered, and all you can focus on is your self. And you should! I cant wait for the next party, and to share one of my latest makes:)
    Get well soon!

So glad you are feeling better. I totally understand, had pneumonia early this summer. It’s so hard to rest when there are so many projects waiting for us. You invited me to join your link party and I’m finally getting the chance, will see you Thursday @ 6:00!

  6. So glad to hear that you are feeling better. It is never easy to take a break away for creating and blogging, but it is really difficult when it is because of health problems. Hope you can get your groove back soon!
