This Little Chair Is Going To Market!!!

I have finally finished it and I couldn’t be more happy with the results!

After stripping it down to the bare bones, I gave the wood two coats of Fusion Mineral Paint in the color Champlain.  Then it was time to redress it in a new bright and fresh material!

Take a peek at what it used to look like…

The back is covered with the reverse colors in the same print.  I think it really adds to the already unique character of the chair.

Sooooooo pretty!  It is going to be taken to The Little Deer Market on December 5.  If anyone is interested in purchasing it.   I’m sooooo tempted to keep it … but I can’t.

I also made a few pillows the other day to take to the market as well, this is one of them … love the simplicity of it with just some vintage lace.

96Well, I’m off to the garage!

  5. A beautiful restyle! The contrasting, yet complementary fabric elevates the look. I also like the dark blue trim used throughout. I, too, have a chair fancy – not brave enough yet to do what you’ve done! Sandra

Thank you Sandra! Chairs just feel so welcoming don’t they? The trim is actually denim… I forgot to mention it in the post! It sort of changes the feel to “casual fancy” :0) I hope you have a great day!

  9. This chair is gorgeous, Terry! I love the fabric choice, too! I must confess, sometimes I say that I don’t care for certain styles, like mix-matching fabric on wingback chairs, then all of a sudden along comes something like your chair which causes me to rethink the former opinion. You knocked it out of the park! This chair of yours is tastefully done. It’s classic and people do love blue. I think you might reconsider holding on to it. It sure looks pretty in your home, against those pretty floors and those awesome walls.

That little pillow is darling, too! I love the fabric and how charming it is.

Hello! It was so long ago now that I don’t remember the name of the fabric. I ordered it through a little interior design shop in the neighbouring town. It was about six or seven years ago now. I do regret not ordering more as I love that it is reversible. I hope you have a great day!
