Making Broken Beautiful | No. 22

Hello everyone! Happy Thursday!!! …. Already!!!
WoW! I can’t believe how time is flying … we are almost at the end of January!
So this week has been another one that seems to have gotten away from me … I did manage to get some painting done and a chair upholstered. The photos for the dining room refresh are picked through and edited so all I have to do is share them now … :)
My big girls are writing final exams right now so things feel a little serious around here. On a lighter side… one of them got their driver’s license last week so it takes the pressure off me to drive them to their jobs etc. Just in time too as my twins have a hockey tournament that I need to volunteer for this weekend (dad is the coach) and the middle child (girl) has a basketball tournament in Carstairs, 45 min down the road! Ahhhhhh …. we Fosters are all over the province this weekend!:) Jobs and sports will rule this weekend!
So…. I invite you to sit down with a nice cup of coffee or some other grown up beverage and take in the works of these amazing people!
BUT … before that happens I need your opinion:
Most of you link up on Fridays … should I change the party to Fridays? I want to make it easy to remember and make sure that the readers looking and browsing your projects get the full party. Let me know and if there are any changes I will announce it next week!
Okay … let’s see what caught my eye last week!
So … Since I’ve been upholstering this past week it is only right that I show you what I’d like most of my projects to look like when they grow up! Ha ha!
D. D.s’ Cottage and Designs nailed that look for me with this stunning wing back chair! Her whole post is just dripping with visual inspiration!
Now … Please take a seat in the lovely chair above while you wait to be served from this breathtaking Butler’s Pantry! I seriously felt the WOW factor with this post from Lory of Designthusiasm … Lory … I want to be your new best friend and invited over for … well… anything! Ha ha! Best closet makeover EVER!
And … of course if you’re going to have a Butler’s Pantry, you will certainly need a butler! Oh! But how will you call your butler when you need him? …
hmmmmmm …. Catherine from Freddy & Petunia will definitely be able to help you out with her Butler’s Button! If you only need Champagne there’s a button for that too! These are so cute and easy to make! Go check out the full post for more fabulous pictures and ideas! How fun!
Oh how I would like to have a Butler … maybe even just a maid? … someone to pick up stray socks? … I guess I can only dream :)
Thank you so much to everyone who joined in the inspiring of others last week! This little party is slowly growing and that makes my heart sing!
Don’t forget to visit other links and show some support to your fellow linkers :) Forge some new friendships this year!
Please remember to link back to this party when joining in :0)
Feel free to link up as many of your previous or present projects as you would like! The more inspiration the better!

My baby got her driver’s license last week too! Yikes!… (I was very happy for her until I saw the insurance premiums! ;) Being a parent of teenage drivers is definitely not for the faint of heart!
Good luck to your athletes this weekend! Sounds busy, but fun.
As for your party, maybe Friday a.m. would be better? But whatever you decide is cool with me. Take care, Cynthia

Thank you Cynthia! It’s so hard to let go and trust her! … she is an excellent driver but my chest gets tight even thinking of her driving without ME! Ahhhhh … as far as I’m concerned she should still be playing barbies at home ;) This would be the part where she rolls her eyes and tells me I’m overprotective! ha ha I hope you have a great weekend!

P.S. For me, it makes no difference to join your party either Thursdays or Fridays.

We are the mutual admiration club heehee. Work work should be slowing down soon, and after that I’ll have the energy again for doing the extra’s.
