Making Broken Beautiful | No. 31

March 24, 2016 by Terry

After a busy yet productive week, I will admit that I’m happy to see Friday on the horizon!

It snowed here all day Monday leaving a few inches of snow on the ground and after last week’s sunny warm days, I’m finding it so hard to go back to winter!  … yuck!

So let’s bring back Spring with some inspiration from last week’s party!

Darrielle from D.D.’s Cottage and Design shared this rustic dresser.  I love the patina on this piece and she’s right … it does give off a “cow hide” feel.  I love it!

Cynthia from Clockwork Interiors shared her church pew.  Can you believe she has had this beauty in her garage for 2 years before giving it this beautiful new life?  Church pews are so hard to come by!  I have one similar (click Here to see)and if I ever came across one decently priced I snatch it up right away! She also made the gorgeous throw pillows on it and shares the how to’s for those as well!

Sherri from August Blues Slipcover Studio has mad skills when it comes to sewing slipcovers!  I mean, super mad sewing skills!  This slipcover is so well done that it actually looks like it’s upholstered instead of just slipcovered!  She has done so many unique and beautiful covers, she really does inspire!  You MUST go check out her blog!

Kristine from The Painted Hive shared how she gave this eBay dresser a new primitive look by switching out the hardware and giving it a new Linen dress!  I love how she styled it with the blue glass and the ferns!  Gorgeous styling!
