A Sneak Peek …. DIY Corner Cabinet

14

April 6, 2016 by Terry

I’ve been busy purging the garage this past week.  Getting rid of those things I’ve been hanging on to for waaay toooo long with good intentions but never getting to them.

It’s time to start fresh … well, mostly.  I have erected a storage facility in our backyard for those future projects, leaving room in the garage for a paint studio and display space for finished projects.

There is still much to do to get organized but I’m well on my way!

I thought I’d share a sneak peek at what I’ve had on the go for a while now.

I don’t mean to boast, honestly, but I really can’t help but be excited over what I’ve made!

I had so much fun photographing it so be prepared for a thousand photos for the reveal!

… here’s a few more snaps of part of the photo shoot

  3. I so understand clearing the garage project! My hubby constantly states I’m getting a storage shed so the garage has room again, which would be a blessing:) I’m envious of all the beautiful styles you find. The aren’t so pupular here at the beach, especially Victorian. Love your desk & the chair too!

Still weeding through the clutter and small parts and pieces that I seem to cling on to ;) I noticed in your garage you have a box full of legs too! I’m a known leg hoarder myself … ha ha! You have so many great salvaged parts in your workshop! I’m having parts envy! I hope you have a great day Catherine!

  5. Oh a shed for storing unfinished furniture would be a blessing! Without a garage Ive taken over our basement with my workshop, a bedroom for unfinished pieces, and media room as a studio for finished ones.
Looking forward to seeing the reveal of your cabinet, Terry, I know it will be beautiful!

Oh Marie! It was becoming mentally draining to always have to figure out where to put things. It’s just a 10×20 pop up garage from costco and I’m only storing things that aren’t temperature sensitive … the really large things like sofa frames and dressers etc. It has been a huge relief! I hope you enjoy the warm weekend temperatures here! Have a great day my friend!
