Making Broken Beautiful | No. 37

Happy Thursday and welcome to another Making Broken Beautiful! I am so happy you are here!
This past weekend’s Market was so fun and I have a lot to share but I just haven’t mustered up the energy yet to sit down and write a post on it. To be honest I feel like it came and went so fast it made my head spin! I had such a great time, I wish it wasn’t over.
Thank you to all who took the time to pop by my booth to visit and shop from me! Your support is overwhelming and YOU made me a success at this market! THANK YOU!
Thank you as well to all of you who choose to link up and share some inspiration at this humble party each week! YOU are the reason I continue to host and I enjoy seeing all the eye candy you bring each week! I love bragging you up!
This week’s bragging will begin with Marie from the Interior Frugalista! She shared her amazing creativity with this outdated otherwise overlooked MCM Record Cabinet Makeover. I just love the color palette she chose and that stencil is so fun! It’s MCM modernized! Ha! You really must go check out the before of this piece to be able to appreciate the amount of work that has gone into this update.
Life On Kaydeross Creek Shared this beautiful antique hutch makeover. Colleen did an amazing job of bringing life and dignity back to this piece! What a huge undertaking! Well done! I love the muted colors she chose for it and she gave it just the right amount of distressing to keep that primitive look. Her styling for the photos is spot on as well! I encourage you to op by her blog and check out the amazing transformation!
Beth over at Make Me Pretty Again shared this beauty in turquoise! She used a technique I have never heard of called Ceruse! You really must pop over to her site and read about this technique, it is so interesting and you achieve this beautiful effect! I love how modern she made this piece feel and she gave it a touch of glam with that pretty hardware! Well done Beth!
Lastly … Vanessa from Vanessa’s Modern Vintage Home is pure magic! Who else can turn 80’s yuckies into Farmhouse Chic fabulous?? That’s exactly what she did with this old entertainment centre! I used to have one of these outdated units and I threw it out … now I wish I still had it! From bulky and heavy to light and airy … so pretty now! Well done indeed!
I had so much fun visiting all those who linked up last week!
I hope you enjoy this party as much as I do! So happy to have you join in every Thursday, it’s a pleasure to host your creativity and talents! Thank you for the inspiration you bring here each week!
