Making Broken Beautiful | No. 41

June 2, 2016 by Terry

I hope this week finds you all well!  As we draw near to the end of yet another action packed week I find I have barely had time to just sit down and browse last week’s links.  I have managed to make it to everybody but it has taken me a bit to get there.

Because you shared so many really great pieces and projects last week, I had a very difficult time choosing so…. I asked my husband for help with the features this week!  Sometimes I think we share the same mind as he picked the same ones I was considering as well ;)

The first piece to catch his eye was this gorgeous headboard to bench makeover by Lisa from The Purple Hydrangea.  It is truly stunning with that classy black & turquoise finish!  A true eye catcher indeed!

Kandice from Just the Woods shared this vintage piece that she brought back to life.  This was one of those pieces that no one wanted or had the desire to have refinished.  Thank goodness Kandice has a creative eye and gave this piece new character and a new chance to find it’s forever home!  Love the detail of the pretty paper too!  Well done Kandice!

Terri from Designing Wilder shares this dreamy distressed up cycled Media centre.  A few changes to the make up of this piece and the outcome is beautiful!  So well done!  You should go check out what this piece looked like before the alterations!

TV-Cabinet-after-front-angle

Baba from Yummy Kitchen shared this sweet little server.  I like how she used all her left over bits of paints mixed all together to create this pretty colour.  The inside looks so fresh with that pretty pop of colour!  You should pop by her site and see how this piece started out!

Mary from Orphans With Makeup shared this dreamy french chest of drawers.  This is one of those photos that makes me wish I had another baby …. and then I snap back to reality!  Five babies is more than enough!  ha ha… I am soooo swooning over every bit of her styling as well as the beautiful job she did on this piece!
