Taking A Break From It All

I have been “Missing In Action” for the past week and I apologize to you for leaving you hanging on so many things.  Life seems to have piled up here again and I have feel like unless I let go of something soon, I will sink!

I know you have all felt like that at some point.  I am not any busier than the next mom, I think that it’s more of the fact that I have become a little less organized lately.  Somehow I fell out of my routine and thus slipped behind a bit when it comes to blogging regularly and juggling daily life demands.

Having said that I have decided to take a tiny blogging holiday to catch up on regular everyday things as well as a few projects I’m working on.  I love this blog and every one of my readers mean so much to me, I hope you will be patient while I get my act together again.

Making Broken Beautiful Link Party will also be taking a break for the next couple of weeks.

I thank you for your patience and I will return soon … hopefully better than ever!

Richest Blessings All!

Smiles!

  1. I know we all feel like that at times Terry no matter who we are and what we have going on in our lives and it can be overwhelming. Talk all the time you need, enjoy your break and be refreshed <3

  2. Totally understand. Sometimes life gets so piled up that we need to “clean house” and say ‘no’ in order to get back on track. Blogging is an incredible about of work but I love your blog and link party so looking forward to seeing you again in a few weeks!

You are so right Vicki! I am the person that rarely says NO to anyone so I tend to be my own worst enemy sometimes ;) Blogging is hard work and so much goes into it that non bloggers don’t realize. I love it though and I can’t wait to get back up on my feet and start sharing things again! I hope you have an amazing day!

  4. Sending hugs your way, Terry ♥♥♥ We all need and deserve a break when life starts piling up. I’ll be doing the same in August. Take care of yourself and your family and when you get back, I’ll be here!

I think sometimes bloggers put too much pressure on themselves to always blog, produce the next “thing” and always do top notch, amazing work. Sometimes when I think blogging sounds like fun, I also think it’s a lot of pressure. I think we all need to take a break from life sometimes to recharge our batteries, and especially our creative batteries. I look forward to your next post, whenever that is. Remember, it’s supposed to be fun.

  9. Ha ha I am seeing a trend here! I ignored my blog for a month (again!) and finally posted today. I was very stoked to come here and see what you’ve been up to in my absence only to find this post. You know I adore you and your posts. Wishing you peace about this all, I am surprised you didn’t burn out sooner frankly… you really had the pedal to the metal for a long time. God bless you friend – looking forward to the fresh aspect you’ll bring when you’re ready. I’ll be here.

  10. Hi Terry,
I was just stopping by to check on you because I hadn’t seen you at Thursday Favorite Things.

I completely understand. Sometimes things just pile up around us quicker than we can keep up. Enjoy your “staycation” and you’ll return with a renewed sense of purpose and focus.
