I mentioned a few days ago that I was working on a wing back chair.  I am so pleased with the way it’s turning out that I thought I’d give you a sneak peek at how it’s coming along.   I will share the “how to” and final pictures tomorrow or Wednesday as I still need to sew the cushion and make new legs…Yes, new ones…I made a huge mistake which I will also explain later!

Inspiration photos…Restoration Hardware Deconstructed Furniture.

I’m in love with the simplicity and “flawed” look of deconstructed furniture.  This is as far as I’ve gotten, I’m so excited to see it finished!

I thought I might be able to use some wood legs I had salvaged off of another piece of furniture but I think they need to be a little chunkier.

Yah…I’ll be shopping for better ones tomorrow for sure!!!

So hopefully I will end up with something similar to this…
