Gone Shopping… Hunting For New Inspiration!

2

August 30, 2014 by Terry

The last 2 weeks have been very successful at my booth with many of my larger items selling… yeay me!  But …. because of this I need to replenish my stash of things to work on and beautify.  I am certainly not complaining though, I love the hunt for new projects.

While I do have many things in my garage to work on, none of them are “calling” to me right now … I’m not inspired to work on any of them even though they’re all good pieces.

Here is a look at what has recently left my booth…

This funnel lamp

IMG_2660Of course my booth isn’t very large so when I put things in I have to be strategic on placement of the pieces.  The desk was fairly large so I am now left to fill a good sized space.

I won’t bore you with everything that has left my booth this month.  I am hoping that today will be a good thrifting/junking day.  With school shopping for 5 out of the way it should be a fun shopping day.

Here is a find from a couple weeks ago that I plan to makeover.  Someone attempted to reupholster it but used a lot of glue instead of staples.  I think it will not be an easy take apart…

Does anyone else think there are waaay too many buttons on the back of this chair????  Yah, that may have to change as well :0)

IMG_2679I’m not sure if I will use the fabric laying on it in the pic or not yet…we’ll see.

Anyways…

I hope to share some of my finds from today’s shopping trip soon.

Smiles!

Terry
