A Spring Vignette

Lately I have hit the jackpot on painted patina! This little vintage cupboard door was a find in an old abandoned farmhouse that my husband was sweet enough to bring home for me. Does he KNOW me or what?
I got so excited when he showed this to me even though I had no clue what I would do with it.
The color of the original cracking paint combined with the rusted, painted hardware made me giddy!
I mean… can you imagine an entire kitchen painted in this robin’s egg blue? Pretty indeed!
I still don’t know what to do with it so for now, I’m using it as a background for a spring vignette in my living room. The blue cupboard door mixed with the fresh greens of paper white bulbs makes for a refreshing vignette.
