Welcome back to another week of Making Broken Beautiful!  I’m so happy you could come!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend.  We spent last weekend in Lethbridge and enjoyed a fun time there! It was nice to step away from things for a bit and just enjoy some family :)

Last week was filled with fabulous inspiration so here are a few highlights if you missed it!

Shayla from Shay Renovation shared how she turned this Goodwill caned back chair into this pretty padded back accent chair.  She gave it a whole new look after completely stripping it down to the bare bones!  Well done!  Great idea for those chairs with missing or damaged cane!

CoCo from The Crowned Goat transformed this ordinary workbench into this extraordinary outdoor serving station!  Complete with lighting!  This is awesome!  You should go check out all the different options for styling it too!  I’ve only chosen one to show you … go check it out!

Shanna from Restoration Redoux shared some chocolate with us … white chocolate that is. Who doesn’t love chocolate … especially in the form of a mid century modern desk!  I love the pop of pink inside … and that pink bust … perfect styling!  Go check out the rest of her gorgeous photos!

Like me, Sara from Twelve On Main also has champagne tastes but only has a beer budget to work with.  Because of this she has come up with a brilliant solution to creating your own beautiful Cotton Stems!  THANK YOU Sara!!!  These turned out ahhhhhmaaazzzing! For the full tutorial on how you can make your own for literally pennies check out her blog!

AWE! Thank you! If I could have found the same material again I would have used it for sure. It is so delicate with the little roses and I loved the lattice design. I’m a bit of a lazy writer …I hate it …so I took a shortcut and didn’t mention that the original wood finish had drippy stain and runs on the legs and the sided of the chair which is why I chose to paint it. But you’re right it was quite sweet the way it was. I hope you have a great week!
