Antique Chair And A Bit About Self Control….

1

January 30, 2014 by Terry

So having a booth at the Old creamery is proving to have some challenges for me but not in the way you think…

It would seem I’m having some struggles with self control.  You see…every time I walk in there I see something new and wonderful that I like in other vendor’s spaces.

A while back I had spotted an antique chair, it really caught my eye for some reason.  I was strong and kept passing by for a week or two…until one day I noticed that the vendor had lowered the price and quite a bit I might add!!!   Ahhh!  This little chair was on my mind for sure now! I thought to myself that I would leave it for a bit and if it wasn’t gone in a week that I would buy it for our fireplace room which needed a small arm chair.  Well…OMG!  It went on sale for 20% off!!!!  Okay!  This chair was just begging me to take it home now!

She’s sweet and has a tonne of potential!  I plan to customize her for our space of course and I will share that transformation with you later, but I thought I would show you out of my own excitement for now….I know she’s sweet the way she is but I have another vision for her!

It’s hard not to fall in love with something every time I walk through there!  I think I need to wear blinders….It is seriously hard for me to practice self control when it comes to antiques but I won’t be profitable if I don’t.  I caved in this time but…..can you blame me?  She was begging me to take her home :0)!

Take care!
