Making Broken Beautiful | No. 40
11May 26, 2016 by Terry
Woohoo! So glad you are here! We are at Making Broken Beautiful No. 40!!! W O W ! I can’t believe it’s been 40 weeks already! Thank you all for making that possible, without your creativity and talents joining in each week there would be no party! okay… I would probably still have a one man party, but thankfully that is not the case!
Lets hop straight in to last week’s favourites!
Jenny from Paint Yourself A Smile most definitely painted one on my face with the submission of this handsome chest of drawers! It is so well done! She has participated in a one room makeover challenge and this is just one of the gorgeous pieces she did. You should pop over to see the whole room! Gorgeous!
Jamie from Anderson & Grant shared this beautiful antique highchair. Just a bath of hemp oil to old dry wood can make all the difference! Not everything requires paint to make a stunning change, go check out the before of this dry sad little chair to see for yourself! Lovely!
Handan & Greg from The Navage Patch shared this incredible antique desk. The amount of work they put into bringing this piece to beauty is incredible! They take you on a step by step of the restoration of the veneer and the entire process it took to get to this beautiful state! Just look at the burled wood!! This is a must see for all!!
Kayla from Painted shared this beautiful cabinet and her tutorial for how to get a stunning glossy finish like this one …. this is a must read as well for anyone who has struggled getting just the perfect glossy finish! You can literally see yourself in it! W O W !
Happy Thursday and happy linking!
